A certain motor factory has been a long-term customer of ours. Before the year-end, the customer needed to develop a new connector for an automotive oil motor, and Dowell BMC motor connectors have always been of high quality. However, the customer required this connector to be made from BMC, which presented challenges due to the need for precise dimensions and post-forming baking at 180 degrees for 6 hours.

All materials undergo dimensional changes when exposed to such high temperatures, so it was crucial to consider these changes during mold design. This posed a significant challenge for both R&D and production teams.

After multiple discussions and experiments on materials and product structures by the Dowell R&D team, material suppliers, and the client's engineering team, we found a pattern. The resulting products met the dimensional requirements outlined in the drawings and received high praise from the client.
