A certain electric meter manufacturer cooperates with Dowell Injection Molding for electric meter terminal boxes.

Introduce

A certain electric meter manufacturer got in touch with us through the internet. They received a request from a Japanese client to develop several types of electrical meter base terminal boxes that require excellent insulation and can withstand high temperatures up to 230 degrees Celsius. The reason they approached Dowell is due to our strict and meticulous production process for injection-molded electric meter terminal boxes. They wanted to learn more about the quality of Dowell's products.

Upon communicating with the client, we learned that they currently have another factory supplying their products. However, this factory has not been able to meet their quality and delivery requirements. Almost every batch needs rework, and there are still significant risks involved.

After multiple interactions with Dowell, the client gained confidence in our ability to perform well, so they asked us to develop two of these products as well. It took only 45 days from mold opening to mass production, and we were able to deliver on time.

Following a comprehensive evaluation, the client decided to transfer the production of those products from the previous supplier to Dowell. After receiving the molds, the Dowell team made some structural modifications and corrections. We strictly followed the production requirements, and the products we manufactured were delivered on time and met with the client's approval.
